This house was our second commission for a one-off house within a proposed development of 25 houses. The proposed site was a corner site with a south-west facing rear garden. The brief was for a cutting edge contemporary house with open plan living but with enough flexibility to allow for a young growing family. The main living spaces are grouped together at the ground floor in a very transparent living space overlooking the landscaped garden, with the bedrooms in the more solid and private first floor.
